Guild created the original Ashbory Bass in the 1987, and now Fender DeArmond offers its authorized version and is making the strings readily available once again to all Ashbory Bass owners. The 18" fretless scale and super light weight of the Ashbory make it easy to create the round tone of an upright bass. It features a patented transducer and unique silicone rubber strings which make it an exceptional instrument in the recording studio and a treat to play on stage.

Truly the most unique bass available today, the Fender DeArmond Ashbory's small size belies its huge sound. But, as with all DeArmond models, hearing is believing. The perfect studio bass, the Ashbory delivers upright tone in a pint-sized package. Note: We recommend the use of talcum powder on the left hand to compliment the feel of our special silicone rubber strings and to enhance the Ashbory playing experience.

About this instrument - Stamped "Used" on the back of the headstock. This instrument has never had an owner. Instruments like this are purchased from an authorized distribution center that purchases direct from the manufacturers and has a team of technicians that go over every instrument, fix any minor flaws if any, or do any minor repairs if needed. They are required to stamp the guitars and issue a new serial number to avoid any fraudulent warranty claims with the original manufacturers as stamped instruments do not carry a manufacturers warranty.
